The Subject Tonight is Love

Art piece based on the Manuscript Kufic script.
Earth pigments (venetian red, moroccan red, burnt sienna, jarosite, yellow ocher) in gum arabic on paper. 54x76cm.
The first line of my favourite Hafiz poem imposed itself as a title for this piece, where the word Love حب, in Manuscript Kufic and five different earth pigments, forms a pattern of primal simplicity.
