Here is my final project! It was a great experience. I learned quite a few things and had a lot of fun doing this. I started by choosing the article I was going to work with, I chose one about women's rights and the murders in Turkey. I read the text, then started making my thumbnails. I used some photos of protests from Turkey as inspiration for my piece. I chose one Thumbnail to work with and started sketching, using procreate. After the sketch and line art were finished, I started coloring. I had a hard time choosing the colors, I wanted to use purple as my main color, but I couldn't find the right colors to complement it. I did some research and was finally able to find a color palette I liked. I also made some textures, using china ink, watercolors, colored pencils, graphite pencils, brushes, toothbrushes, and tissues. Later I added those textures to the digital drawing, using Photoshop. That was my process. I'm really glad I took this course. It was awesome :)
