Cabins

For the launch of the 7th Architectural Visualization Challenge on my blog ronenbekerman.com, I developed the CABINS concept as if I am participating in the challenge myself. This was an exercise for me and a way to craft visuals to be used for art showcasing and promoting the challenge as well as an inspiration piece for all of you who are about to take part in it.

After a short modeling session, I ended up with this "Cabin on the Edge" concept.

I've picked one of the views and sketched even more in Photoshop, to get a better idea of how I'm advancing with it.

Before I jumped into the location creation and rendering, I took the time to pick a real-world location and model the terrain with the help of a heightmap. To be able to craft visuals fast, I decided to go with Lumion.
