A few things I have done

Photography has been a hobby of mine most of my life, but I've always wanted to be able to draw, too.

In 1999, I was at a conference in Mexico that included a bunch of architects and cultural heritage experts. I saw one of them sketching in a little book and was intrigued. Later on that trip, I found an art store and bought some basic watercolour supplies, though I didn't really know what I was doing.

I bought a Moleskine art book about a dozen years ago and sketched a couple of scenes on my trips, but that was about it. Since then, I have read a bit about watercolour techniques, and since COVID started, I've been trying to not be afraid of the blank paper, ignore the people around me and just try to put brush to paper.
