THE CITY THAT LIGHTS UP WITH ITS RESIDENTS’ FOOTSTEPS.
Toulouse, known as the ‘pink city’ because of the colour of its buildings at sunset, will now shine even brighter thanks to its residents’ footsteps: the energy they produce by strolling around their city will power the street lamps along the way. And all thanks to technology which first came to light on a nightclub dance floor.

Toulouse, conocida como la “ciudad rosa” por el color de sus edificios al atardecer, ahora brillará más que nunca gracias a los paseos de sus habitantes, cuya energía al pisar las calles alumbrará las farolas que flanquean el camino. Y todo gracias a una tecnología que vio la luz sobre la pista de baile de una discoteca.
