I learned a lot about the difference between black and white sketching, with which I am familiar, and watercolor painting. My recent attempts started out filling in the spaces created by ink sketches. It didn't work well. There was always a conflict between the watercolor and the ink, which gave a wonky result. I worked on other projects to paint the forms without line work and redid the first attempt. It would also have been a lot easier if I wasn't so close up and could be looser. Next time........
I am looking forward to getting out and sketching, not having to shelter-in-place. I think I will sketch as I always have in detail in ink and then paint separately in watercolor with a minimum of ink line work. Photos are a trap for me and not what I want to paint from.
This pushed me to explore lots of new avenues of expression.
Thanks Alex!

Profesor Plus¡Son realmente bonitos! Encontrar ese equilibrio entre la tinta y la acuarela es algo que requiere mucha práctica. Me encanta que seas consciente de esto y estés trabajando para encontrar tu propio estilo. ¡Bien hecho!
