'Illustration Meets Lettering: The Art of Record Covers'
A Domestika course by Steve Simpson

Projected I created for my online workshop for Domestika

In this course we explore the most crucial part of creating any illustration; the development of the concept. This is even more important when we are combing hand drawn lettering into our design. Creating the perfect balance between pure aesthetics and functional readability. The classes cover every stage from research to rough colour. You are then invited to finish the illustration using your own final artwork technique (be that digital or analogue) and assemble the physical artwork into an actual record cover and 7" vinyl.
