In order to learn another game art style, I encouraged me to make this hand-painted asset. My goal was to learn a different workflow, focusing on hand-painted assets creation including 3DCoat for modeling and painting textures. Also, wanted to know how to paint wood and metal. Had fun making this prop.
Modeled, retopology and textured in 3DCoat, final tweaks in Photoshop, high poly in Zbrush, baking in xNormal and renders in Unreal Engine 4.
