BACKGROUND
This is a short documentary film I made on my own. I was researching for a much larger project about boxing classes in prisons, when I met Moussa and fell in love with his passion for boxing. They way he expressed himself and the good vibe he had, just made me want to put him on screen. So I followed him for a couple of weeks in his daily life with boxing, school, fights and teaching - from that came this 20 min documentary that is all about proving how important it is to have hopes and dreams in your life.
The filmed has been screened twice at the Catalan TV channel BETEVÉ.

He becomes one of the most promising young professional boxers, and has to this day today never lost a fight. Moussa does not forget about his roots though, and every week he gives classes to young teenagers in the neighbourhood, proving that boxing is so much more than just fighting.
