Design, coding and deployment of features for a SaaS

Due to the need of creating new features for a SaaS that was already in production new sections and tweaks were developed. This included the whole process, from brainstorming the new ideas from a usability perspective to designing and testing with real users before the development of said features, to a later coding and deployment of those in an already working environment.

Among the new features a new overview (Panorama) was created, with much more information than the original one (hence more useful), a new interface for working with Real Time was included, printable and exportable reports were developed (that would download and combine information in real time for the user to download) and a new much more interactive map section was coded. This would allow for the automatic aggregation of elements in the map, as well as allowing for a fluid experience while keeping all of the data (including sentiment for each cluster of cities/countries) available.

From a technical point of view this project required working with AngularJS as the framework the app worked with, to using Ruby on Rails to build the new features to communicating with databases through Elastic Search..
