Introduction
En lugar de zapatos converse decidi hacer unas zapatillas estilo balerinas.
Materials
No utilice hilo metalico porque no es mi gusto, y utilice hilo moline sin la capa de cera. Los zapatos los comrpe baratos en linea, eso me perimitio mas libertad a la hora de tomar desiciones y sentirme comoda con cometer errores. Las chakiritas las compre en un $1 store y fueron las que encontre.

utilice la plantilla propuesta por la profesora, solo la modifique para colorarla en el zapato en la forma que me hizo mas sentido.
Embroidery
este paso fue dificil porque al principio no tenia claro lo de las agujas, torci varias agujas y las arruine, me pulle mil veces las manos. Y me tomo dos semanas, solo trabajando algunos minutos/horas en las noches al final de mi dia de trabajo.

Esta parte la hize con un pano humedo y luego empece a aplicar las cuentas. Senti que el diseno se via pequeno en el zapato y que las cuentas extendian el efecto visual del patron de flores.

These are incredible Melisa! I love the direction you took with the ballerina slippers! This is why I love stick and stitch paper so much! It would have been difficult to attempt to hand-draw directly on the shoe, particularly because of the texture. But the dissolvable paper makes it so easy.
The colors and placement are perfect! I'm such a sucker for florals on a black background. It's a timeless look, and you can never go wrong with it.
The beads were a perfect touch, and the color and placement had the exact desired effect!
If you decide to stitch shoes again, test the material to see how easy/difficult it is to pass a needle through before committing to the project. I have a few different styles of Converse that I purchased with the intention of embroidering, but they're made of a stiff, more constructed material than the original All-Stars. And trying to stitch them just isn't worth the hassle:(
