2D animation in full color and audio

Kroki, the frog. A 50-second 2D animation with full color and audio. The canvas size is 3840x2160. This project was made for Domestika course: Master 2D Animation in Procreate Dreams: Basics for Digital Art

Procreate, Procreate Dreams, GarageBand, Sound effects downloaded from Pixabay and a Fifine Amplitank K688 Dynamic Microphone.

I sketched a character design on Procreate with 3840x2160 canvas size. I drew full body front and back and also multiple angles with different facial expressions.

In planning the animation, I made rough sketches of the scenes in Procreate and also turned on the animation assist feature. I then transported the layers to Procreate Dreams and added duration of each picture according to my animation concept. My character name is Kroki, the frog. The animation takes place in Kroki's living room. 1st Scene: Eating chips while watching TV until Kroki felt his stomach growling. 2nd Scene: Kroki absurdly jumps to his round table and started to fart very long. I set the canvas to 3840x2160 for the storyboard to match the size of my canvas in Procreate Dreams.

1. I first made a colored version of the background for the for the 2 scenes. 1st Scene: The Sofa. 2nd Scene: The living room.
2. I created rough sketches of each movement frame-by-frame. I done this in multiple tracks for smoother animation. This is called the skeletal phase.
3. Once, I am happy with the rough animation, I then added the outline, color, shadow, filter, etc.

I downloaded sound effects in Pixabay and made changes using GarageBand. I recorded the character voice using a Fifine K688 dynamic microphone and was enhanced using the same app as well.
