Introduction to Japanese Sashiko Stitching

This course was a very interesting education on Sashiko. I very much enjoyed it and I know that I will continue to use Sashiko and Boro as ways to reflect and meditate as well as to repair clothes that I want to add character to.
My main focus for this final project has been adding Sashiko to my favorite jeans. It is a challenge to choose what designs to use, but I think all the options can be made cohesive with a simple straight stitch in between designs.
