In 2005, Stephen King said: “Marah is probably the best rock band in America which nobody knows.” Since 1995, the band was led by brothers Serge and Dave Bielanko, but in 2008 Serge left the band to form a family and dedicate his life to it. Affected by his brother’s decision, Dave, along with band member Christine Smith, moved into the heart of the Pennsylvanian woods, from where they kept Marah alive, expressing their longing through beautifully crafted rock songs. Serge had two children and it was not until October 2011 that he agreed to re-join the band for a brief ten-day Spanish Tour.
Ten days with two brothers who ultimately took very different paths in their lives, but who were ready to join forces on a scene once again. Ten days back with the workmen of rock'n'roll, their dreams, their antidotes, their vigor, their promises, their rebellion and their tramp art.
