Mon projet du cours : Construisez votre marque créative

Bonjour :)
et bienvenue dans mon projet du cours !

Je dois tout d'abord dire un grand merci à Lisa Hassell pour la qualité de ses conseils et de son cours qui m'ont énormément plu et surtout, guidée, aidée.

En effet je souhaitais revoir ma communication visuelle, et redéfinir mes objectifs "extra-professionnels". Bien définir ce que je veux vraiment ou au contraire quels genres de projets je souhaite éviter...

J'avoue ne pas avoir mis en application pour le moment la dernière unité du cours car cela ne me concerne pas pour le moment, mais je sais qu'elle sera tout aussi utile le moment venu !

And welcome to my course project!

First of all, I'd like to thank Lisa Hassell for the quality of her advice and course, which pleased me enormously and, above all, guided and helped me.

I wanted to review my visual communication and redefine my "extra-professional" objectives. I tried to define what I wanted clearly or, on the contrary, what kind of projects I'd like to avoid.

I confess I haven't applied to the last unit of the course yet, as it doesn't concern me at the moment, but I know it will be just as helpful when the time comes!

Voici pour commencer le résultat de ma petite séance de brainstorming. J'ai regroupé les idées selon les 5 thèmes principaux qui me tiennent à cœur en ce moment :

- Graphisme
- Bien-être
- Social
- Environnement
- Éducation
.....

Here are the results of my brainstorming session. I've grouped the ideas according to the 5 main themes that are close to my heart at the moment:

- Graphics
- Well-being
- Social
- Environmental design
- Education

Puis j'ai transposé ces idées en photos, pour m'en inspirer et ne pas perdre mes objectifs de vue. La plupart des sujets présents sur ces images représentent les thèmes que je souhaite aborder dans mes futurs projets :

- les boites de conserve recyclées en pots à crayon pour l'ENVIRONNEMENT,
- mes 2 clowns préférés : Mr Bean et Coluche pour l'humour et BIEN-ÊTRE,
- l'escargot pour le BIEN ÊTRE également (slow life) et l'ENVIRONNEMENT,
- les livres pour enfants pour l'édition et le GRAPHISME (Richard Scarry en clin d'oeil car je suis fan de son travail) et l'EDUCATION en s'amusant,
- une photo de mon frère et moi pour la famille, l'enfance, la parentalité, SOCIAL,
- et bien sûr des paysages qui m'apaisent pour représenter l'ENVIRONNEMENT,
- etc...
.....

I then transposed these ideas into photos, to draw inspiration from them and keep my goals in sight. Most of the subjects in these images represent themes I'd like to tackle in future projects:

- tin cans recycled as pencil jars for the ENVIRONMENT,
- my 2 favorite clowns: Mr Bean and Coluche for humor and WELL-BEING,
- the snail for WELL-BEING (slow life) and the ENVIRONMENT,
- children's books for publishing and GRAPHICS (with a nod to Richard Scarry, as I'm a fan of his work) and EDUCATION for fun,
- a photo of my brother and me for family, childhood, parenthood, SOCIAL,
- and of course landscapes that soothe me to represent the ENVIRONMENT,
- etc...

Ensuite, il a fallu créer/trouver un"projet passion" pour montrer un exemple de ce que l'on souhaite réaliser et "pour qui".

Quelle excellente idée !

J’ai alors décidé de faire un petit clin d’oeil à mon grand frère Vincent, globe-trotteur passionné par les voyages et les découvertes culturelles. Il y a quelques années, une idée lui a trotté dans la tête et il m’en avait fait part lors d’une de nos conversations. Elle m’avait beaucoup marquée, car j’imagine tellement mon frère dans ce projet ! Mais comme il ne s’est pas concrétisé, j’ai décidé de l’utiliser pour mon projet du cours.

Voici donc son idée, saupoudrée de quelques une des miennes :

"A BIOCYCLETTE(*)" brasserie Bio & atelier de réparation de vélo

(*)jeu de mot avec "BIO" = Organic food + le mot "bicyclette" = Bicycle
"La Bicyclette" est aussi une chanson française d'Yves Montand très connue en France ! je vous ajouterai le lien plus bas

"A Biocyclette" est une brasserie qui propose des repas faits maison à base de produits locaux (circuit court), bio, et de saison, combiné avec un atelier de réparation et location de vélos pour les touristes.

Le tout dans un décor champêtre, vintage et une ambiance guinguette, conviviale, chaleureuse, avec la bibliothèque de BD de mon frère à disposition, son chat pour vous accueillir, et de la musique rock ou cosy. Il y aurait suffisamment d’espace pour installer une petite scène pour des concerts, one man show ou standup, spectacles de magie, une fois par semaine par exemple. Un coin ludothèque serait aménagé pour les enfants avec des jouets en bois, des jeux de société, des crayons, et des vieux magazines de Mickey !

Le restaurant se situerait dans une petite ville qui longe la Loire, dans la région Centre de la France, réputée pour son riche patrimoine culturel avec ses châteaux et son Histoire. Le Bâtiment pourrait être une ancienne ferme rénovée, avec des animaux, pourquoi pas ? Avec un esprit rustique, guinguette & champêtre ?

Then, we had to create or find a "passion project" to demonstrate what we wanted to achieve and "for whom."

What an excellent idea!

I gave a nod to my older brother Vincent, a globetrotter passionate about travel and cultural discovery. A few years ago, an idea popped into his head, and he shared it with me during one of our conversations. It made a big impression because I could see my brother in this project! However, as it never materialized, I used it for my class project.

So here's his idea, sprinkled with a few of mine:

"A BIOCYCLETTE(*)" organic brewery & bike repair workshop

(*)wordplay with "BIO" = Organic food + the word "bicyclette" = Bicycle
"La Bicyclette" is also a well-known French song by Yves Montand! I'll add the link below.

"A Biocyclette" is a brasserie offering home-cooked meals based on local (circuit court) organic and seasonal produce, combined with a bicycle repair and rental workshop for tourists.

All this in a country setting with vintage decor and a warm, friendly guinguette atmosphere, with my brother's library of comics at your disposal, his cat to welcome you, and rock or cozy music. There would be enough space to set up a small stage for concerts, one-man or standup shows, or magic shows once a week, for example. A games corner would be set up for children, with wooden toys, board games, pencils, and old Mickey magazines!

The restaurant would be located in a small town along the Loire River, in the Centre region of France, renowned for its rich cultural heritage, castles, and history. The building could be a renovated farmhouse with animals; why not? With a rustic, guinguette & champêtre spirit?

... Then I prepared the mood board:

Mon frère est sur la photo au centre avec son look "hipster" et les lunettes de soleil.
La petite maison de campagne au milieu, c'était notre maison lorsque nous étions enfants.
Sur celle avec le ciel bleu, je suis en photo à côté de mon frère avec le t-shirt rouge :)
Les autres photos sont des photos prises sur CANVA...

Je vous ajoute ci-dessous la chanson qui m'a aussi inspirée pour ce projet, pour vous mettre dans l'ambiance ^^

Pour l'étape suivante, il fallait "construire notre marque".
J'en ai profité pour mettre à jour mon portfolio, aussi bien graphiquement, qu'au niveau du choix de mes créations à insérer.
