My project for course: Cinematic Documentary Filmmaking: Shoot, Edit, Launch

I took this footage last Saturday, June 17,2023. The video that I supposed to submit should be the one taken last June 03,2023 but somehow the memory card had a problem so the video was totally gone. Luckily, there was another feeding program that had happened so I took another documentary pictures and videos of the outreach program.

The food that will be fed to the children were all from the sponsors or donors for the afternoon event.

The program has a short bible study for kids followed by the snack time. This aims to provide both the spiritual learning and food nutrition for kids. Sadly, this weekend feeding program is not enough to monitor the children's nutritional health balance nor if the educational needs are also met.

I recently edited the video. I tried my best to follow your advice. However, the head of the Social Service Ministry was the only one who granted me the opportunity for interview. The rets of the volunteers same with the children , they decline for interview.

The ethics behind in giving short Bible verses was to educate the youth about Christian values. And somehow these children could have the initiative every Sunday to go to mass. According to the volunteers, some of these kids are no longer attending either mass or school.

Furthermore, the social service volunteers aim to adapt in real life what Jesus Christ did to the people of his times, invite them for small talk with a bit of food or drinks for sharing. It is like " tea time or coffee time" here in our generation.
