The painted final, done entirely in gouache on Arches hot press paper. It looks nice on the white, but I want the lilies of the valley to pop a little more, so I think I'll edit in a dark background.

The sketch! I sketch in a warm, light-toned colored pencil right onto my paper. It always gives me looser and more lively lines.

Studies of leaves, flowers, and animals, as well as color, for the final piece! This part took the longest, but it was so worth it.
