Rio na Floresta (River in the forest)

Pinto e estudo com frequência. E faz muito tempo que eu não era impactado com uma técnica e visão tão simples e profunda como a do Richard Thorn. Decidi fazer o curso e experimentar cada pincelada, cada olhar, seguindo sua condução.
Foi fantástico buscar aqui os meus pincéis mais velhos e surrados para colocá-los novamente em uso, inspirado pela simplicidade e técnica no trabalho desse professor. Foi muito interessante e enriquecedor.
Ficarei feliz em ter seu comentário sobre minha escolha do tema, estudo tonal e a pintura inspirada em seu trabalho.

I paint and study frequently. And for a long time I hadn't been impressed with a technique and vision as simple and profound as Richard Thorn's. I decided to do the course and experience each brushstroke, each look, following his conduct.
It was fantastic to look here for my old and shabby brushes to put them back to use, inspired by the simplicity and by the technique of the professor's work. It was very interesting and enriching.
I will be happy to have his commentary on my choice of theme, tonal study and painting inspired by his work.
