First pale washes in the body and eye finishedSecond eye complete. Note the blues often seen in the nose of dogs Mouth completed with graduated pinks. Alizarin crimson and indigo mixes Cutting in the darks on the ears to achieve structure Adding a pale wash of golds to start building the colour in the ears Comparing to the photo. Very wishy washy. Needs more colour and depth! Adding richer golden tones around the face Golden tones added to the underlying layers. Some of the harsher edges scrubbed and softened.
Absolutely gorgeous, great to see the step by step process Sarah uses to produce such a lovely work, most impressed, I've still got 2 of Sarah's courses to work through and should really make the time as when I started on the birds, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
