First three weeks consist of learning methods and understanding steps on how to plan out the first stages of documenting. Taking safety steps I’ve thoroughly learned about scouting, planning, shot lists and storyboards and lastly having a conversation with the interviewee about the upcoming interview and the plans within it.
On the middle part of my progress the shooting has begun. We’ve went to a location to shoot the interview and the planned location for us to shoot the b-rolls. The first day consists of giving the interviewee, I’ve asked him questioned before hand so that he could prepare but never memorized his lines to give that interview a bit of a natural feel. The second day due to the lack of time and short on budget we shoot the b-roll on a classroom within the campus and captured the scene based on the interviewee’s answer.
Postproduction has begun soon right after the shoot, although I thought that this will come smoothly as planned but some plans don’t work and there are some challenges that made the interview/documentary interview not what I initially planned, From the pacing and the intention it was very quick and upbeat than the intended slow and thoughtful interview that I intended. There are also some damages on the interview that unrecoverable like audio, But I manage to finish and submit my video successfully.
I hope you enjoy the video
