My project for course: Analog-Style Digital Illustration with Procreate

I started off making a moodboard to inspire me for this project, putting together elements, colour palette, characters style and general vibe I wanted to achieve in this artwork.

Then I proceeded sketching a few ideas, very roughly.
I wanted to use both symbols of Torino and something that was symbolic for me as someone who moved here for college and stayed for life.
After that I moved to final sketch.

When happy with colours I added more noise and textures, desaturated and washed the final image to give it that analog and vintage look it was supposed to have.

I loved this course! Brad is an amazing teacher, his lessons are very thorough and inspiring, I work with Procreate daily and yet have learnt a lot.

Overall I’m happy with the results of this project, this course helped me understanding better graphical style yet I feel like I haven’t really grabbed the opportunity of pushing me out of my comfort zone, I might add a second project.
