Inspired piece

Version 3 and still Incomplete.

This project has been ongoing and still incomplete as I am a perfectionist. I was inspired by it after seeing Sainte-Chapelle (on Pinterest) and was moved that I actually wanted to create a painting. Unfortunately, I am a beginner at all aspects of art, but have decided to start with drawing as I hear that is the way to start. I have done, as you can see, some digital art for fun, but have never gotten training.

Bit of more background:

It has been hard to get images of the whole inside in the right spot, some images are not all placed. Some together, which makes it like a jigsaw puzzle to draw. I know that my drawing has problems like:

> Perspective is wrong

> My shaping needs improving along with my small figure

I am planning redoing it again, as I am still unsatisfied.

Version 1

I sketched version 1 by hand first, then took a picture on my phone (uploaded it to my computer) and traced it digitally via Krita. At the time, I did not like what was conveyed through my work and thought that I could improve upon it by going digital. But it still didn’t feel quite right, it just felt like I was cutting corners, although the Icon was my best work.
