Lighting and Color : Stardust Baby Angel

Greetings everyone and welcome to my final project,

Stardust Baby Angel.

First of all, Thank you Karmen Loh (Bearbrickjia) for giving tricks and tips on the course. Your lessons taught me very well to enhance my portrait from none of the knowledge, including your pieces you have publish on socials for my case study, too. And I become your fan. XD

Digital illustration is one of my wish that I wanted to accomplish. I can now proudly show others that I even have a good illustration, too. I, at least, found something which I am good at here on Domestika, especially in your courses.

I practice day-by-day following to the course and some additional resources. Stardust Baby Angel is my pride because the portrait obviously shows how I use lighting direction and colors mixture, which seems properly to me. I also have seen my progression on the drawing.

Moreover, the other significant factors are how to use some tools and brushes. At the start, I had no clues, and just randomly used brush tips, as the consequence, I created no aesthetic of the portrait. It made me afraid to draw new arts, but your course give me the study of it so I can improve myself very well to understand them.

The portrait showed here is established from my imagination. I collected reference on Pinterest, and applied them on my canvas. The result is very satisfied and very aesthetic for me, especially the eyes, which I eventually can crack the trick of using brush to make it more subtle than I did before.

Lastly,

I do believe that everyone can complete his/her devotion and eager to learn something. Please do not give up. The final result will answer what you have done the past time whether it is your thing. I found myself quite late, but it is not too late to learn. I hope that everybody will found yourself and finished your goals as I do.
