XL Tapestry

This is the largest weaving I have ever made! It measured about six feet by eight feet, and took me over six months to weave. I lost track of how much yarn I used to complete it. This weaving was inspired by the piece-work in quilts, and I wanted to combine a limited palette with more geometric shapes (something I don’t do often!) This piece was created for a gallery in NYC but was sadly lost by the shipping company. I’m very glad I have the photos!
