Urban Travel Sketches

The various pages from my traditional and digital sketchbooks represent a cross-section of the work I do when I travel. I am endlessly inspired by the characters of large and small cities, and travel is one of my strongest sources of inspiration. Most of the time I have my sketchbook or iPad with me, and pause all the time as I move through the city to capture the sights, the streets, and of course the people. When I work digitally, I love to sometimes introduce photos into my sketches by collaging them together in a sort of 'scrapbooking' process.
