While I was semi-quarantaining in Bern, I wanted to do an extra Domestika course to prevent getting bored. The course had to be manageable with my limited supply of travel art materials.
Although I've been handlettering occasionally for decades (I started well before anyone called it "handlettering"), I'd never taken a formal course and decided on this one. I learned a lot more from Joanna Muñoz than I expected, mainly on composition. Also, some of the exercises boosted my creativity, and I have been lettering a lot more since.
In this project, I give you an overview of my course exercises that were not yet posted on the course fora.

Oh my gosh, I love all of these so much! I'm so glad that you found the class valuable and it helped boost your creativity – that really made my day. :) You've really got a knack for drawing, and I love that you explored so many different styles of lettering, composition and coloring. The first one is my favorite! It feels loose and organic but is drawn really well and has so much personality. I hope you keep lettering, you've done such a stellar job!!
