Masks have fascinated me since I was a very small child. The idea of becoming 'someone else' instantly was quite profound to me. Growing up in the 1970's and 1980's, I was witness to a revolution in the art form as, every Halloween, companies competed with each other not for creating masks that were the cheapest, but the masks that were the BEST. Many innovations took place during this exciting time, and it became a mission for me to be one of the best mask makers in the world. I have refined and honed my methods over many decades to achieve what I think are more works of art than simple masks; it is an art form that continually inspires and motivates me.... and I think always will.
