My project for course: Surrealist Illustration Inspired by Nature

This is my final piece based on a legend about a hero called Oisin who hunted a hare one day and after following the hare underground he discovered a woman who had been wounded by his arrow. I used the hawthorn plant as it has very strong ties to the fairy world. And wanted to capture the moment when the hare began to change back into the fairy woman. I really enjoyed the course thanks so much Marco. I feel I have a better understanding of coloured pencils now.
