New Global Online Banking

Challenge
Designing an innovative private web consistent across all of
countries where BBVA is present.
Aligning approach and priorities for teams with different cultures,
views, and processes is always challenging. Finding a way to align
this teams towards a common goal was key for the success of this
project.

Approach
I designed and facilitated a Design Sprint (Google Ventures design workshops
methodology), that would help define the focus of the project and
get the teams in different countries to start working together.
I created a methodology to remotely test new concepts (Rocket
Research) and designs every 2 weeks with participants in Latin
America as an efficient way to keep the user present in the design
process, while keeping up with the fast pace of the design
iterations.
I also trained designers & researchers to facilitate Rocket
Research.

Results
Positive impact in the collaboration between countries.
Some features were already launched in Mexico receiving a score
of 4.5 out of 5 for satisfaction in an internal survey.

The Rocket Research methodology defined in this project is
currently being used in different countries as part of the design
workflow, as this represents a simple and effective way to keep
users present in the design process.
