The Hermit way - Watercolor Sketchbook

I really loved the course, especially the teacher.
At the beginning I had a lot of difficulties because I had never worked with watercolours, but the teacher gave me confidence to continue and not listen to my critical voice.
I managed to overcome that voice and in the end I liked the result and the guiding thread that in the end appeared by magic.

The idea of ​​the image of the hermit appeared from a tarot card. Then I started to love the idea of ​​the universes inside the hermit and how everything is interconnected in the universe, as we are all part of all that exists. In the end the hermit makes a great journey of transformations and transmutations inside and outside. First he is submerged in a sea and then he is reborn in a forest and follows his journey to the air, following the 4 elements, water, earth, air and fire.
The idea of ​​round shapes being inner planets and how the color varies within the color wheel was a really interesting idea to explore.
I imagined the clippings with different colours in the wind touching the various elements, penetrating and transforming themselves into what they touch, such as crystals, leaves, oranges, etc.

One concrete idea that came to me at the end was the idea of ​​how nature transmutes itself into everything around us and that was a lot of fun to see to evolve.
Surely I will need to work more on this theme in the future, and I am so glad I finally finish this project, even with some blank pages to finish. But now I have a more clear vision, and also confidence to continue to express myself and maybe a book can come from this sketchbook.

Thank you so much for the course. The teacher is brilliant and teaches all the steps that we should take. She applies all the techniques very well and in the final project it is essential to follow the teacher's own process.
