Mechanized puppet theater

This was a small mechanical miniature theatre touring here in Sweden, with two professional actors playing "Traveling merchants in Storytelling". They acted out classical Swedish and European fairytales, using this cabinets various doors, "sets" and mechanical contraptions.
The entire thing took about 10 weeks to complete, and it was constructed so it could easily be disassembled and transported in an average semi large van.
Mechanical features includes: sliding in sets from both sides of the "main stage". Draw string curtains. Twenty (20) "secret" doors / not so secret doors that could be opened from the front or the back, popping out characters. Electric back lighting that could make sceneries "pop out" from nowhere.
And besides the actual cabinet, there were also a few pop-up suitcases with mechanical features, as seen in the uploaded video
