I took a different slant to my first mid movie attempt. Decided to go somewhat bolder. My plan was to follow the mood of the story and it's characters as it became more intense. I had produced the music just as a piece on it's own recently. I decided to use it rather than produce whole new content for this movie. One of the benefits of saving Stems of your own musical productions. They can be pulled out at anytime and fitted into something entirely different.
I have enjoyed this course and Simon's clear tuition on the subject matter has been enormously helpful to me.
I welcome feedback on my score

I have commented on my reasoning for this score I composed in the Questions and General Comments Forum, but I will reproduce part of it here.
I was initially focused on the woman character, but then I refocused on the perpetrator (the man at the door). The reason for that came about at the end of the movie, in the small segment added after the credits.
This man was trying his line on another potential victim. (He had succeeded with the previous young woman)
So, now the story could be about a man that preys on young women?
Now, my problem is do I continue to frame my score with this interpretation? I chose to go with that and through doing so , I possibly wouldn't have got the job of scoring this film. (My music may have let me down too, but that's another story..)
Consequently, my score became somewhat bolder and possibly overpowering in places. But I left it like to try and focus more on what was happening around the perpetrator.
