Embroidering into leather

Este proyecto me encanta, ya que investigué de forma autodidacta cómo bordar en cuero y me encanta como quedaron los dos modelos de bolso que hice.
El trabajo lo realicé para mi marca "lanusa", y era un trabajo muy meticuloso, primero tuve que trabajar en el patrón del bordado, cuando ya lo tuve lo agujereaba para marcarlo en el cuero.
Tras el marcado tocaba hacer agujeros en el cuero con un punzón, y antes de bordar tenía que pasar las hebras del hilo que usé por cera de abeja.
Los laterales del bolso estaban hechos con madera, y los pinté con pintura chalkpaint con ayuda de Maria y Sergio.
Luego pegaba los lomos de madera al cuero y los clavaba con unas puntas de tapicería.
Las correas las cortaba to misma con una herramienta especial.

I love this project, since I self-taught how to embroider on leather and I love how the two bag models I made, turned out.
I did the work for my brand "lanusa", and it was a very meticulous job, first I had to work on the embroidery pattern, once I had it I drilled it to mark on the leather later.
After marking, I had to make holes in the leather with an awl, and before embroidering I had to pass the strands of thread that I used through beeswax.
The sides of the bag were made of wood, and I painted them with chalk paint with the help of Maria and Sergio.
Then I glued the wooden spines to the leather and nailed them down with upholstery spikes.
The straps were cut by myself with a special tool.
