Author Bio

Jan M. Hill is the mother of four, a lovable cat, a cuddly dog, and five grandchildren. She has a vivid imagination and loves to weave adventures. The more outlandish the adventure, the better she likes it. Much of her story creating has been put to good use setting up Dungeons and Dragons quests for her children and their friends.

Jan developed a love of reading early. Her favorite gifts were books, and she’d often be found at night by her father, sound asleep under the covers, with an open book and a flashlight. Jan started writing at thirteen as a way to cope with life’s stresses. Over the years, she has continued to learn about writing and has honed her skills. She enjoys encouraging young writers to continue writing and explore their imaginations.

Jan loves to read with favorite genres being fantasy (go figure) and sci-fi. She dabbles in art and computers, enjoys cake decorating, and collects vinyl and porcelain dolls. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Web Design (Oh, look! More writing!).
