Defining art as a critical expression, this work consists of two pieces born from the responsibility to expose an important issue that affects many of us: the invisible danger of sugar. Inviting reflection and raising awareness about our eating habits.
We fear war, we fear poverty, we fear terrorism, hunger, or even love. But who's afraid of sugar?
Our food intake is transforming our bodies and affecting our quality of life. Talking specifically about refined sugar. The sweet temptation behind our meals, together with fat, salt, and additives can be responsible for 6 out of 10 chronic diseases. Most of the time we consume it unconsciously in processed foods.
Invisible Enemy is an exploration of sugar and the lack of awareness of how its mass production impacts us and the planet. This ‘One Health’ is affected by its overproduction and overconsumption, and the lack of awareness of how its mass production impacts us and the planet. This ‘One Health’ is affected by its overproduction and overconsumption.
