Shanghai Biennial

David was invited to exhibit at the Shanghai Biennial in 2012 by the great Chinese Master Xiden Chen. This exhibition was a huge undertaking and attracted more than 5000 entries from around the world. Luck was on David's side as he was awarded a first place prize and an all expenses paid trip to Shanghai. His winning painting'Killing Time' was collected by the Shanghai Museum for their permanent collection. This was the first of his many visits to China. Later he was invited as a guest of honour to the Shanghai Museum for a prestigious event to honour Master Xiden Chen. More than 2000 visitors attended the opening and David was chosen amongst the many artists present to give a speech on live China T.V. in honour of Master Chen.
