I was gifted a loom months ago, but this was my first attempt to learn how to use it. I altered the project a bit and did it on the loom rather than a frame. My first attempt was too dark and had too many mistakes to feel great about putting in the hours to finish it and I ended up cutting it off half way through. My five year old told me I needed "mostly pink and yellow" so that was my starting point! The yarns are all reclaimed so they were different texture which helped me learn a lot about working with different materials (and changed my plan as I realized how time consuming it was to work with very fine alpaca yarns!) The shapes weren't at all what I initially drew, but I couldn't get my drawing to stay in place on the loom, so I gave that up pretty quickly. I saw a fun piece online with lots of pom-poms and challenged myself to figure out how to do it myself. Lots of mistakes, especially with tension, but I enjoyed the course and process and learned a ton!

Profesor PlusLauren ¡Estoy tan impresionada! Me encanta que hayas integrado varias técnicas diferentes aquí. La forma superpuesta en la esquina superior derecha está perfectamente hecha y la encuadernación es realmente ordenada. ¡No puedo esperar a ver qué haces a continuación!
