Introduction

Hello, my name is Anakaren Suarez and I am a mathematics teacher at a high school(2nd year teaching). I cannot express how art has been fundamental in my life since it is one of my coping mechanisms for my mental health. Along with art, I enjoy the outdoors and progressively fell in love with nature itself. Typically my practices are sunsets that I enjoy that day or flowers I'd like to keep in remembrance of and I try to reflect those images through watercolor. I am very excited about this course since I'd like to learn how to bring my experiences to a new level and perspective.

Thank you for offering such an abundance of knowledge and sharing an intimate experience with us, I am sure this course will bring me enjoyment throughout and after.
