I used a combination of techniques in the end. Watercolor, watercolor pencils, colored pencils and then cut out and mounted the beauty berries to add dimension. I cannot give up on my bubble wrap berries though so I inlaced them in the final picture.
Thank you for the guidance and inspiration to persist at really getting to know the subject. Also the encouragement to experiment with different media. Most especially thanks for getting me outdoors with my backpack full of sketching and painting materials again!

Profesor PlusSuzanne, ¡estoy tan contenta de que las bayas del plástico de burbujas hayan aparecido en esta foto! Tienen una ligereza de tacto que los hace sentir tan delicados y cuidadosamente recortados. Se sientan en contraste con las bayas y hojas más oscuras e intensas de su pieza final y funcionan maravillosamente juntas. ¡Felicidades!
