My project in Artistic Watercolor Techniques for Illustrating Birds course

Dear Sarah, I can not tell you, how eager I was to start watercolour painting, from the very first moments of the course! I've never tried it before, and I just love doing it. Generally the beginning is really hard, but there is always a moment, when I realize, that my birdie starts to take shape, and that moment is almost the best during the whole process. :)
I uploaded the birds in order (only my favourites), so you can see the developement, if there is any - I am honestly not sure about that. I feel like I am too strict, maybe I am a little stuck with painting in a realistic, scientific way, and I should try being more artistic, also maybe braver with colours. What do you think about this, do you have any suggestions?
