Kingfisher in watercolor: updated

Hi, I would like to post my recent watercolor painting work.
Since I have not made many watercolor painting, I would tried how vivid color can be made in watercolor by choosing this small bird. This is my first independent work after finishing Antonia's course.

After wondering many pictures of kingfisher, I pick up one on the web taken by a local hobby photographer 'Yuji.'
I like the posture very much, and I also liked it with clearing showing two legs.

And I also picked a couple of pictures with good details and colors. I wanted to make a green kingfisher.
Combining those multiple images to make this picture.

It was fun!
