From early sketches observing the qualities in the room, an existing display of baptismal fonts became the focus for renovation. The problem was these objects were pushed to a corner and unreachable to visitors. The new intervention focused on rearranging the baptismal fonts into a narrative sequence, adapting each display to complement the existing atmospheric qualities — tranquility, natural light, transparency, defined space, connection to the garden, etc. The intentional separation of the new displays provide a unique environment and experience for each object. Tracing back to the religious function of the baptismal fonts, the addition of a water element was designed as a series of small pools that engage with the existing architecture, adding another layer to the exhibition.
