My project in Watercolor Illustration with Japanese Influence course - here is my final image - only just used Photoshop so new to it. I wasn't very successful with the background eraser

“For goodness’ sake, stop that din!”
The piercing tones of the 10 string claviharp, matched only by the equally piercing tones of Princess Kiku’s screeching voice, stopped abruptly as various large objects were hurled from the towering balcony onto the musicians below.

The small, monkey-like octogenarian scurried away, dragging his precious claviharp with him – and a rather long scroll that fell at his feet – muttering mysteriously to his still smaller companion.
“Not in a good mood again today, then” he sniffed.
