I am an Interior designer and after a 15 year career in commercial and corporate design left the security of a paycheck to open a little cantine (breakfast & lunch spot in an industrial area but populated with buildings full of hip creative companies of all kinds, video games, special effects, artist studios, publishing firms for cookbooks & animation, furniture & lighting showrooms & importers, wine importers, etc...) and my restaurant also also sold a small selection of Mid-Century Modern furniture for 8 years before selling the lease in September 2019.
After taking 6 months off for the first time in my life that this pandemic that prolonged a little, I continued until now still buying & selling 20th century furniture (no longer specifically mid-century modern) on a very small scale to my own little social network & I give some pieces to a cool store on consignment but am ready now for an Instagram account in addition to a brick & mortar store to come.
