Hi,
I am Marta dos Santos, I was born in Portugal but lived in different countries in the last 20 years. I enjoy diverse cultures, creativity, beauty and knowledge. Visual arts have always been in my life. I enjoy listening to politics, science, I am also always interested in civil and human rights, feminism, and climate change. I am a swimmer and I love music, especially jazz, funk, soul and other musical genres rooted in African heritage. Traveled to India, central America, African and middle east countries learn more about ancient textile techniques.
Regarding my work, I am a highly experienced textile designer and manager with a strong background in the fashion Industry. Due to my independent character I’ve always tended to work as a freelancer. This forced me to be in constant evolution with a high capacity to adapt. In the last decade I worked and developed collections to various renowned fashion brands. Usually people describe me as creative, professional and sometimes, demanding. Today, as a creative professional, I bring my vision and expertise to every project I undertake.
