Marianne Akasha Olofsson

I am an elderly woman from Sweden, being more than 61 yrs old. I have painted and done works in knitting and textiles off and on my whole life, but when the pandemic came I started seriously with acrylic painting and even more with watercolor painting. I like to paint nature, skies and seas and tres, I dont paint people or buildings that much. I also do some abstract paintings, paintings of a more spiritual kind. I am a very spiritual person, like to ask myself "who I am" and the meaning of life. Painting and seeing the beauty in nature gives y life more meaning and I feel much happier. For some time now I had to work with other things than art, which makes me very tired and exhausted and I constantly try to devide my time in between time to paint and a fulltime job in the social field. I am also a motehr of six sons and a grandmother of two grandchildren. I love painting, I love forests, skies and nature. I want to learn many different styles and tecniques in watercolor but also develop my own style. The difficulty is to create ones own style but without painting the same thing oer and over again.
