My name is Lynna Chung, an industrial designer with strong belief in design thinking, enthusiasm and creativity. I studied Masters in Design Management at Istituto Europeo di Design in Barcelona in 2009. Also, I graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in the United States
with a BFA in Industrial Design in 2006. Since then, I have been working as an industrial designer in various industries such as scrap booking & crafting and housewares. Through my professional working experiences, I delivered
countless new products in the market successfully, which in turn have increased sales and strengthened brand image with design innovation.

While I was working as an industrial designer in New York, I was responsible for product development from concept to completion through brainstorming sessions, market research, conceptualizing, 3D rendering/modeling, and
communication with overseas manufactures. I created new and innovative tools for scrapbooking industry which increased sales and refreshed the category. Some of the products were chosen as customer’s favorite product
and featured in magazines. I also received good reviews from overseas manufactures for clear communication during product developing process. I also worked on blue sky projects, bringing creative product concepts and
possible business opportunities in housewares industry,including cooking tools for kids, tools & gadgets and pantryware. They added value to brands such as Food Network, Kamenstein, KitchenAid and Cuisinart. It is when I realized the importance of bridging design and business which brought me to Barcelona to study design management. The program focused on creating business opportunities with innovative services or products based on user insights.

In addition to my design sensibility, I have excellent time management skill and flexibility to cope with people with different background and knowledge. With these characteristics, I always reach for outstanding design solutions with innovation.
