You will be responsible for leading the learning & development initiative for Design Studios to become better design partners for Consulting Team (CT). You will build a robust learning strategy for Design Studios (DS) team and continually work to improve and refresh the DS training content and overall programs.
Design and implement functional learning and development curriculum while leveraging BCG broad learning programs for non-functional training needs
Training to cover DS new hire orientations, regional career step training, new services at related training etc.
Lead the annual review of DS training programs in alignment with CD cycle and Consulting Team feedback mechanisms
Monitor success of learning activities and contribute to improving DS service level
Working with other Consulting training teams to develop improved Consulting Team (CT) training on DS offerings, contributing to CT career step training. Develop and implement training modules for CT entry-level orientation, as well as, ongoing training for Consulting Team on end-user tools, VS navigation, etc.
Liaise with WW BCG training network to leverage existing training offerings for DS, content creation, delivery of training of end-users and to position CT training related to DS capabilities and knowledge content
Manages costs to stay within allocated training budget
Liaise with Learning & Development and Virtual Classroom team for Virtual Training Sessions
YOU'RE GOOD AT :
Past experience in working or training creatives and designers will be preferred e.g. in an academic organization/ creative agency / design company / or other relevant business
Proactive in ideas and abilities to drive projects and assignments autonomously
Ability to act as a coach for creatives on an individual basis in light support and training - for example helping team hone communication skills (and soft behavioral skills)
Ability to research design landscape and advise recommendations to leadership
Stay ahead of design landscape and ability to quickly suggest training which may include concepts in quick/fast track scenarios or ideas that are even “out of the box” thinking
Firm understanding of content, video, digital, graphic design environments including subtle but important differences in the way designers and creatives learn- (At times action-based and at times autonomously)
Have a fundamental desire to learn and help shape emerging offerings in gaming, augmented/ virtual reality or others targeted to designers/writers and creatives
Comfortable scoping training in an international and digital setting, think beyond regional aspects and in a global model
