Are you the one?
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced QA Engineer, based in our headquarters in Madrid. You need to enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be very result-oriented.
We’re not looking for ninjas or gurus. We’re looking for experienced professionals who are excited and motivated to change things and to work in a close-knit team environment.
Key accountability and responsabilities
• Reporting to the CTO.
• Designing, implementing and maintaining the QA test strategy and processes.
• Evaluate, test, automate software, and verify that code functions according to user requirements and conforms to established guidelines, economically and efficiently.
• Ensuring all applications are test covered, automated and qualified for production environments.
• To support developers in understanding how to write more testable and robust code.
• Be aware of and understand the impact to QA of any new technologies being introduced.
• Working with the Solution Architect to ensure the team delivers to required quality and adheres to best practice.
Key skills, knowledge, experience and competencies
This job is not for everyone. You’re experienced with:
• Web-based development, automation, API testing and a full understanding of requirements and functional specifications.
• Unit functional and user acceptance testing, using tools such as phpUnit, jUnit, Selenium, Bamboo, etc.
• Stress and performance testing, black box, white box and usability testing in client-server, web and database environments.
• Creating test artifacts: test specifications, status updates.
• Web service architecture.
• CI with Jenkins, Hudson, etc.
• Agile development methodologies (SCRUM)
