Marion Heres

My name is Marion. I am 65 yrs old and I live in Amsterdam. I am retired after being a consultant Ob/Gyn. Last year I decided to work less and started taking my writing serously. After completing two yrs at the creative writing school and want to write a graphic autofiction novel. Last autumn I discovered painting and drawing again after I started bullet journals. I always wrote diaries but this was different. This february I started a online course at a watercolor academy and I love it! The joy of painting and drawing is my present of the day after hard work. I did not paint or draw since my puberty! I still have to discover my own style. I love to see other peoples work on IG. And, like Katie, my whole life I am hooked to stationary and papershops. I love music from Bowie to Bach and world music from Mali to Cuba but I love Om Kalsoum too. Modern art inspired me a lot. Richard Serra, David Hockney, Njideka Crosby, Cindy Sherman and Basquiat comes to my mind but so many others too
